S.P.O.R.T: Social inclusion, Participation, Outdoor activities, Respect and Tolerance

S.P.O.R.T: Social inclusion, Participation, Outdoor activities, Respect and Tolerance is an international youth exchange under the KA1 of the Erasmus Plus Programme, which will be held in Tallin, Estonia, from 21st to 28th of August 2017 and will involve 6 countries.
Each country will be represented by 6 participants, 5 + 1 group leader.
The aim of this project is the promotion of youth participation in community projects through volunteering, and the promotion of non-formal education, using sports as the integration medium with the local community, so that they may develop a tolerant and reflective attitude towards people from 6 countries.

Objectives of the project are:
• Share knowledge and experiences related to the sports traditions in Europe, creating generational bridges, a true source of cultural and territorial identity;
• Promote social inclusion and respect between young people from the various countries involved in the project by promoting debates on race and gender, as well as group activities;
• Develop social skills between participants, through sport and non-formal education;
• Show to young participants involved in the project the importance of sport in the promotion of equality, tolerance, and integration in society of citizens of varied genders, races, cultures and religions;
• Motivate in youngsters the development of good behaviour and conduct during the practice of sports, that is, develop the sense of fair play and respect for the adversary, that we wish it may then be carried on to everyday life.

All participants and leaders will be involved in every activity, where they will work together in national and transnational groups. In all activities the methodology to be used will be based in non-formal education, through diverse group dynamics , outdoor and practical activities.
