SEA the treasure within - Sustainable Empowering Actions for a cohesive Europe

The Objectives of the project are:
- To explore the current context related to measures/actions taken to address the gap between young Europeans and young immigrants
-­ To assess the sustainability and the long term and evolving perspective of these measures/actions
-­ To strengthen the cooperation between organisations to establish long term and sustainable exchanges of best practices;
-­ To develop, test and implement innovative and inclusive practices in the field of youth, involving young migrants and young europeans with fewer opportunities;
-­ To strengthen the cooperation between regional authorities and youth NGOs in the field of inclusion and in addressing the so called "migrant crisis";
-­ To promote the development of formal and non formal education, train­ing and youth systems to foster cohesion and inclusion, and their integration in actions of local and regional development;
- To promote inclusion of young migrants in youth organization, at the local and international level;
- To develop new sustainable and empowering activities for inclusion of young migrants/refugees and young Europeans with fewer opportunities, in order to contribute to build a cohesive Europe.

The project will be developed over 24 months and will foresee the following outputs:
- A research gathering the existing techniques/measures/practices taken by youth organizations aiming to address the gap between young Europeans and young immigrants to achieve their inclusion and integration
- A set of new sustainable and empowering activities for inclusion and a cohesive Europe
- A final publication (research + toolbox) and curricula for youth organizations that wants to involve young migrants/refugees and youth with fewer opportunities in their programs and activities (in collaboration with local authorities, formal education systems, etc.)

The project will also foresee:
- trainings for youth workers
- pilot NFE activities to be implemented at the local level
- a common online platform (with videos of the activities, step-by-step guides and tutorials on how to implement the activities, interviews, video-diary of the project, best practices, etc.)
- a social (graphic) campaign with infographics and photos developed by participants about young migrants and their potentials (migrants and refugees as resources and value added in local communities)

We are specifically looking for partners with a direct involvement and experience in working with young refugees/migrants and young people with fewer opportunities, and that are available to actively contribute in at least 2 of the activities and phases of the project (and possibly host at least one training).

Target group: Target group of the project will be young people aged between 13 and 25 with migrant and refugee background and/or with fewer opportunities in general. We're specifically looking forward to integrate and include young migrants in the local pilot activities and, whenever possible, in all the phases and activities of the project. Each partner should be able to involve at least 100 beneficiaries (young people with fewer opportunities, young migrants, young refugees, local stakeholders, decision-makers, youth works, etc.) at the local level, in order to have a real impact in the community and to create a strong multiplying effect.
