Rup4Youp: Rural Power for Youth Participation

The aim of the project is to build up a partnership for future youth exchanges and youth initiatives projects, focusing on entrepreneurship and employability of people living in European rural areas. We will apply for Action 4.3 "Partnership Building Activity", in order to discuss and evaluate together with our partner organizations, how to promote youth participation with the help of the Youth in Action programme, taking into account the specificity of the rural areas where we use to work. The project is targeted to 4 youth workers/leaders from 8 youth organizations from EU Countries. During 7 working days we will discuss about common problems of young people living in European rural areas, such as unemployment; understand the EU policies included in Europe2020Strategy for youth of rural areas; exchange good practices about youth exchanges, youth initiatives, training courses,etc...; implement a common strategy for 1) promoting youth participation and entrepreneurship through the Youth in Action programme, 2) developing international youth exchanges and youth initiatives focusing on entrepreneurship and/or employability.
