"Roots and Recipes" aims to establish solidarity restaurants/initiatives that serve as both a community hub and a training ground.
This Erasmus+ KA220 project harnesses the universal language of cuisine to foster social inclusion and intercultural dialogue, with youth at the forefront.
"Roots and Recipes" aims to establish solidarity restaurants/initiatives that serve as both a community hub and a training ground.
Young participants, including locals and asylum seekers, will collaborate to design, manage, and operate this space, gaining valuable culinary and leadership skills.
Through intercultural workshops, community events, and mentorship programs, the project empowers youth to build bridges between cultures while enhancing their employability and fostering social cohesion.
Together, they will celebrate diversity, share cultural heritage, and create a more inclusive and empathetic society.
Key Objectives:
- Empower youth as leaders in creating and managing an inclusive culinary initiative.
- Provide practical training and mentorship to enhance employability.
- Promote intercultural understanding through youth-led community events and shared culinary experiences.
