Romanian Villages Speak Non-Formal!

The theme of the project is promoting non-formal education amongst children and youth from rural communities, with a special emphasys on rroma communities.

Romanian Villages Speak Non-Formal is an EVS project that involves 5 volunteers from 3 European countries who will perform a 11 months service in Nocrich Village, Sibiu county, Romania. The theme of the project is promoting non-formal education amongst children and youth from rural communities, with a special emphasys on rroma communities. The 5 volunteers will work together towards reaching the project’s objectifs: helping children and youth from the rural communities reach a higher level of personal development through involving them in non-formal educational activities, teach the children and youth foreign languages using non-formal education methods and work towards the development and promotion of Nocrich Scout Centre as a non-formal educational centre.
Throughout the project’s activities, the methods use the its implementation will always have at least one non-formal component, promotion of non-formal education in every step of the service being of utmost importance. We hope that the implementation of this project will bring the language of non-formal education in the lifes of young people that live in the rural area of Sibiu county.
