This project aims to encourage the young unemployed (through the youth workers) to invest in self employment by giving them managerial skills and entrepreneurial spirit, as one of the means of remedying the great difficulty of finding a job.
Moreover, within the framework of the Erasmus + programme objectives, this project fits with the aim of strenghteing the link between the youth field and the labour market. The methodology that will be used to implement the project, is an informal approach, which can be easily assimilated by young people, and allowing them a better standard of learning, therefore, taking into account this aspect , the project was inspired by the idea that, being part of a music band means to deal with the same dynamics of being part of a company, a start-up or a business in general.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
- To promote entrepreneurship education among young people
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVEs
- To provide youth workers with knowledge, skills and practical tools related to the managerial skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
- To use and promote a non formal approach, very close to the "youth language", based on art and music.
- To stimulate self-employment initiatives among young people, through the support of youth workers, according to identified young people’s needs and backgrounds.
In this frame the project wants to transfer the competencies about the creation and the running of a company to youth workers involved, through the creation of 4 intellectual outputs implemented on the basis of a non formal approach based on the idea that music can be used as a cue to train young people about management, business and entrepreneurship. Project Cycle Management approach, that will be used beside the non formal approach based on music, will help participants in focusing on real needs, and in providing potential solutions to these needs through their business ideas. A Training Course (Short-term joint staff training events), addressed to youth workers, will be implemented and used as test for the refinement of the learning outputs.
