Youth Exchange for the promotion interculturality through music.

4 youth + 1 group leader per country
- Participants’ Profile: Youth between 13 and 30 years old: young people passionate of playing, learning and practicing music and especially percussion, as well as youth with fewer opportunities interested in artistic activities. No languages skills and no knowledge of music are required for the participants. However, the youth leader should have a basic knowledge of English or French.

Overall Object:
The project "Rhythm’ & Move" is a youth exchange which aims to make young people think about the connection between "interculturality and music". The participants will discover in which way music and percussion can enhance the relationship among youth, helping them to understand the history and cultural heritage of different countries. The project is also intended to develop the spirit of solidarity among European youth, increasing their knowledge of respective traditional music. As result of the project the participants will perform a public concert and create a video of traditional music’s performance.

Youth Exchange objectives:
This project has the following objectives:
1. Acquire or enhance participants' knowledge in the fields of music and playing;
2. Raise the knowledge of the traditions and cultures of the countries involved in the project through their respective songs;
3. Strengthen the awareness about European citizenship among the youth;
4. Improve the knowledge of foreign languages, especially of French and English;
5. Develop the interest on the application of formal and non-formal methods for the promotion of projects in the field of arts and music;
6. Improve the technical and digital skills of the participants.
7. Reinforce or develop the self-esteem through the benefit of playing music on the intellectual, personal, affective and physical state.

Methodologies: working groups, workshops, round tables, role games, reflection groups.

Partner’s Profile: “Tambour Battant” will choose its partners according to the following criteria:
-Non-profit organizations, youth organization and/or informal group of young people;
-Experience in creation of event and/or project for the promotion of art and culture, at local/international level.
-Experience in the youth field;
-Experience with people with few opportunities;
-Knowledge of English and French languages in order to facilitate the communication;
Working conditions:
-Working days: 5
-Travel days: 2
-Travel expenses : travel tickets will be reimbursed at the return of the participants back in their countries, within the limit of the Erasmus+ lamp sums;
-Accommodation and food : 100% covered by Erasmus plus funds;
-Participation fees : no participation is required from the participants;
-Materials: provided by the coordinating organization. Other material can be brought by the participants;
Team composition:
- 1 Trainer;
- 1 Facilitator;
- 2 Experts;
- 7 group leader.
