REYO RIGHTS – Empowering Youth Workers for Digital Rights

A KA153 training course in Türkiye empowering youth workers on digital rights, inclusion, data protection and online youth participation.

REYO RIGHTS – Empowering Youth Workers for Digital Rights is an Erasmus+ KA153 Youth Workers Mobility project designed to strengthen the professional competences of youth workers who support young people in digital, remote and online environments.

The project responds to the growing need for rights-based, inclusive and safe digital youth work practices. Many young people, especially those working remotely, studying online or facing social and economic barriers, experience challenges related to digital exclusion, data privacy, online participation, digital safety, social isolation and lack of awareness about their rights. Youth workers need stronger tools and methods to support these young people effectively.

The main activity will be a six-day international training course in Ankara, Türkiye, bringing together youth workers from Türkiye, Italy and Lithuania. The training will focus on digital rights, digital inclusion, data protection, online safety, inclusive digital facilitation, youth participation and rights-based approaches in remote working contexts.

The programme will use non-formal learning methods such as workshops, case studies, simulations, role plays, group work, peer learning, reflection sessions and practical tool design. Participants will not only gain knowledge but also develop concrete tools, local action plans and transferable methods that can be used in their own organisations and communities.

The project aims to:

* increase youth workers’ knowledge of digital rights and online safety;
* improve their capacity to work with young people facing digital exclusion;
* support inclusive and participatory digital youth work practices;
* encourage international cooperation and exchange of good practices;
* create practical tools and follow-up actions for local youth work.

We are looking for motivated youth workers, trainers, facilitators, youth leaders and NGO representatives who work with young people, especially in digital environments or with young people facing fewer opportunities. Participants should be ready to actively contribute before, during and after the mobility, and to implement follow-up activities in their local communities.

REYO RIGHTS will contribute to better quality youth work by connecting digital transformation with human rights, inclusion and active participation.
