Revolutionising Care: Enhancing Home Care Quality (DIGI-REACH)

The DIGI-Reach project aims to improve the quality of home care services by enabling people receiving home care, family carers and adult educators to improve their skills and knowledge in using digital solutions in the care process. The project aims to make the most of the opportunities offered by digital transformation to respond to the growing need for home care in an ageing population. This will contribute to making care processes more efficient, accessible and sustainable.
Project objectives
- Enable people receiving home care to more actively use digital solutions in their care processes and improve their quality of life,
- To support family carers in managing their care processes more effectively by improving their skills in using digital technologies.
- To increase the competence of home care professionals to develop and manage care services using digital solutions.
- Facilitate access to home care services and improve the quality of care through digitalisation.
- To promote and facilitate the adoption and implementation of digital technologies, products and solutions in home care services through adult education.
Core activities
- Capacity building workshops for professionals and adult trainers.
- A guide with practical information on the use of digital solutions in home care
- Development of an open access digital platform with training modules and best practices
- Transnational meetings and exchange of experiences between partners.
- Final conference and policy recommendations for EU-wide adoption.
