Building competences for resilient youth workers capable of engaging marginalised youth and handling conflictual or risk situations safely and inclusively.
The KA153 project aims to strengthen the professional capacities and resilience of youth workers to provide safe, inclusive, and high-quality youth work. Participants will develop practical skills and methods to engage marginalized and at-risk young people, including those influenced by street environments or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The project addresses the challenges youth workers face in high-risk settings, including exposure to violence, conflict situations, and emotionally demanding contexts, while supporting their wellbeing and preventing burnout. Through participatory workshops, peer learning, and exchange of good practices, youth workers will enhance their competences in conflict management, inclusive outreach, and innovative youth engagement approaches.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to implement inclusive and relevant youth activities, increase the active participation of marginalized young people, and contribute to safer, more supportive, and sustainable youth work practices within their activities and communities.
