A youth exchange empowering young people to build resilience, solidarity and practical skills to support themselves and their communities in uncertain times.
Resilient Together is a KA152 Youth Exchange that brings together 32 young people and group leaders from six partner countries in Budapest, Hungary. The project responds to the growing uncertainty young people experience due to armed conflicts, economic instability, climate-related challenges, misinformation and rapid technological change. These realities affect young people in different ways but often create stress, insecurity and a feeling of limited control over the future. At the same time, young people can play an important role in supporting their peers, volunteering, strengthening local communities and developing solutions to shared challenges. The project therefore aims to help participants become more resilient, adaptable and confident while strengthening solidarity, cooperation and active community involvement.
The exchange will also connect resilience with solidarity, volunteering, sustainability and active participation. Participants will examine how individuals and youth groups can contribute to stronger communities through local initiatives, peer support, responsible communication and cooperation. In multicultural teams, they will identify challenges relevant to their communities and develop realistic youth-led ideas that can be adapted and implemented after the mobility. Through this process, participants will not only gain practical competences but also understand that resilience is not simply the ability to cope individually with difficult situations. It also depends on supportive relationships, inclusive communities and people who are prepared to cooperate when challenges arise.
