The Partner-Finding Tool
Training for youth workers to hold workshops for children for combining waste recycling with elements of art. (music instruments) 4 person/country
In the RePlayGround project we focus on educating young people in creative environmentalism and training youth workers, who by the end of the project will be able to hold various development workshops for children for combining waste recycling with elements of art.
We accept 4 youth workers from each participant country. These participants should have their focus of interest in art, music, creativity and environmental protection. The training will involve several art and pedagogy workshops as well as simple theoretical and practical learning about waste recycling. All of this will help them later on in non-formal education of young people. They will be able to design workshops of their own, building on participation and integration of participants, where young people will be able to express themselves through artistic means while putting emphasis on their environmental education. On top of this methodology participants of the project will be able to obtain many practical informations: there will be workshops on group dinamics, communication skills, instrument design. They will have the opportunity to attend presentations in one of the local schools and practice their new knowledge on groups of kids. As an interesting addition on the last day of the programme we will visit the interactive Leskowsky museum in Kecskemét which hosts a collection of musical instruments. Through all of the listed above they can acquire knowledge that improves their own position on the job market as well.
In the spirit of learning from each other the programme involves presentation of good practices from every participant country. The youth workers show each other what methods are common in this topic in their own countries.
