Rehart

Rehabilitation through art workshop for mentally disabled people.

Perhaps the most important goal in education of people with disabilities is to contribute to individuals development in every sense. In art, as in all other areas, education factor is undeniable for the creation of social awareness. Moreover, dealing with art contribute positively to the individual's motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination, to keep channels of communication open, to support the concept of training to increase their skills.

It has been confirmed by us that, socializing through these kind of events also improve their self-confidence and help their way to self-realization, when we were volunteers in the Tepebasi Municipality Social Life Center and previous Erasmus+ projects.

So this project aims to design an art workshop, where mentally disabled people come together and meet with the artists from Europe.
