YOU 220 -Youth Cooperation partnerships project to reduce technology addiction and safe use of the Internet by young people between the ages of 13-24

Target Group:Our main target group is the adolescents and young people between the ages of 13-24 . Other target groups are young people and youth workers.
The aim of t he project is to ensure that adolescents and young people between the ages of 13-24 use technology correctly, appropriately and reliably, to protect them from the negative effects of technology addiction and to ensure their socialization by educating and raising awareness of them and also by producing innovative open educational resources and mobile application that prevent technology addiction for them.
In order to do these, joint solutions will be brought to common problems by coming together with different domestic and foreign institutions, individual, cultural and professional capacities of youth workers will be increased, and institutional capacity will be increased.
Youth institutions will gather young people together to work on raising consciousness, informing, raising awareness, directing them to social activities, providing psychological support, and experts in the technology field and sociologists will produce innovative resources, materials, platforms and application on technology addiction and cybercrime, which are among the biggest problems of the new generation young people.
It is our goal to see what kind of measures have been taken to combat technology addiction, to use technology correctly and appropriately, and to establish strategic partnerships regarding these issues.
In addition, it is aimed to increase the capacity of youth workers and youth institutions, to ensure active participation of young people in the social environment, to produce innovative approaches, new application and innovative outputs related to technology addiction.
Technology Dependency is an important problem that affects people and society all over the world.Technology addiction all over the world is increasing and brings danger day by day. Countries with higher technology are at greater risk of dependence. If a person can more easily access the dependent thing, it is easier to depend on.The use of Technology Dependence and the Internet in inappropriate places is a problem that needs to be solved by the Globalizing and Developing World. The Internet has become the largest global computer network spreading around the world,and the unsafe and unconscious use of children and adolescents is a long-term negative impact. Communities all over the world should be more sensitive to the challenge the danger and take the necessary precautions for the solution of the problems.Children and young people in particular are the most affected by this situation. Solutions to these problems are sought worldwide and measures are being taken.It is important to go to International strategic partnerships to see what actions are taken and what measures are taken on the international scene in relation to the harms and dependency of technology, and to examine and make joint decisions.
Transnational meetings will be held for this purpose. At the same time, personnel training will be held on Cybersecurity,digital detox and the correct, appropriate and safe use of technology in EU countries that have developed intervention programs on these issues for youth workers. Both the personal, cultural and professional capacities of the personnel, as well as their morale and motivation will be increased. At the same time, they will come together with young people to share and transfer their knowledge, skills and experiences.
A curriculum will be prepared for both young people, and youth workers on how to use technology, what to do to protect from addiction and its dangers, what cyber crimes and cyberbullying are and security measures,digital detox.
Sharing will be done by creating a web-page and social networks. On-line training module & curriculum on prevention of technology addiction and safe internet by relevant experts ,pedagagues, and sociologists, mobile application for youth to prevent mobile addiction of youngs .Also Training module on Life skills&digital detox, for young people that negatively affected by technology addiction , will be created . All outputs will be translated into languages of all partner countries.
They will be promoted and disseminated to young people, institutions, schools, universities, NGOs and institutions related to the subject, and their use will be ensured by carrying out multiplier activities. Short films or animations related to the subject will be created and shared on social sharing platforms.

Students between the ages of 13-17 and those between the ages of 18-24 will be given separate trainings. Young people between the ages of 13-17 who are socially&culturally disadvantaged and who do not have exam anxiety will be educated among the schools to be selected from the disadvantaged regions.In addition, young people between the ages of 18-24 will be selected by the University on a voluntary basis from among the disadvantaged groups according to the letter of intent.
