Reduce, reuse, recycle for your future

Objectives:
- acquiring young people aged between 16-25 from the 3 partner local communities (especially those with reduced opportunities) of knowledge regarding clothing / fashion recycling;
-promoting social inclusion through recycling and creating the environment for a minimum number of 100 young people with reduced opportunities to recycle clothes for a period of 12 months;
-improving the knowledge of youth workers in order to encourage young people from local communities to recycle the clothes they no longer wear;
-reduction of textile waste among young people aged 16-25 from the 3 local partner communities.

Within the project we will have several activities:
1. Kick-off meeting in which we will establish the responsibilities and we will start working to achieve the objectives;
2. The realization of the recycling methodology through which we will highlight the problems that young people encounter when they want to recycle clothes, the level of understanding of this phenomenon, the usefulness of recycling but also ideas for reusing clothes, reducing textile waste.
3. Conducting a training for youth workers to learn methods to motivate young people to recycle clothes they no longer use.
4. Organizing 3 local events in each community partner of the project in which several ideas for recycling clothes will be presented. During these events, clothes will be collected which will later be donated to children's homes or social centers.
5. Final conference.
