REDUCE - RESUSE - RECYCLE

Reduce - Reuse - Recycle is a 10 day youth exchange focusing on the theme of creative recycling and how this can be used to develop working skills for youngsters. During the activity participants will actively practice creative recycling together with a team of experts in a peer to peer setting and discuss the issue of waste of goods in contemporary societies. The objects created will be functioning and usable in everyday life. Creating ideas on how to make functioning tools out of trash and put them
into practice will develop skills and talents that can be useful for the participants in a longer term perspective, it will develop their spirit of entrepreneurship and have an employability dimension.

The exchange will take place in Greece in the region of Prespa Lakes, a rural area at the crossborder of three countries: Greece, Albania and FYROM. The area has a high environmental interest with a unique ora and fauna and t is a protected area by all three countries.

The method we are going to use is based on learning by experience. We will combine creativity, creation and technology with sessions on how to recycle and reuse as well as identifying talents, skills, working styles.

We are looking for organisations that have or want to develop an enviromental prole, who want to participate and are committed to the project throughout its whole duration ,and want to train their youngsters for this purpose.
The target group of this project is especially
youngsters from the age of 18-25.
Less opportunity youth is included (social
problems, poverty, rural areas, disability etc).
