About Our Organisation: A Pioneer in Addiction Rehabilitation in Türkiye
Adana Guidance and Rehabilitation Closed Penitentiary is a pioneering institution in the field of addiction struggle in Türkiye. We embrace a restorative, non-punitive approach to execution. Our specialization is focused solely on the treatment and rehabilitation processes of convicted individuals with substance use disorder.
Within our institution, we implement scientifically-based group psychoeducation programs such as Individualized Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs) and SAMBA (Smoking, Alcohol, and Substance Abuse Psychoeducation Program), alongside vocational workshops. We work with a holistic approach aimed at the physical, psychological, and social empowerment of inmates. We possess a strong scientific foundation and a large staff capacity. We are deeply committed to integrating international standards into our institutional culture.
Project Focus and Objectives
To combine our institutional expertise with best practices across Europe, we are seeking a partner for our Erasmus+ KA153 Youth Workers Mobility project, titled: "Reconnect: Digitalised Rehabilitation." This project aligns perfectly with the core Erasmus+ priorities of Digital Transformation and Inclusion.
The main goals of the project are: to ensure our staff gains experience regarding digital applications, online psychoeducation modules, and technology-assisted intervention approaches; to strengthen restorative justice and inclusive methods; and thereby establish an innovative rehabilitation model within our institution.
Profile of the Partner We Are Seeking and Our Partnership Offer
We are looking for a host institution/organization capable of hosting a 10-day Job Shadowing activity for our expert staff in this exciting project.
Required Criteria:
Direct experience in the fields of addiction treatment, youth justice, or penitentiary systems,
Actively utilizing digital-supported therapy or technological tools for social integration.
