Mission Statement
Our mission is to be aware that we are always on mission. A mission which is innovative,
which is collaborative, which is challenging: a mission which we never stop dreaming.
“Dream no small dream; it lacks magic. Dream large. Then make the dream real.”

Team Summary
Our team, Qubit, was founded in May, 2018 by our lead mentor Aslı Çakmak and 8 of her
students. We are located in Maltepe High School of Science, İstanbul, Turkey.
Qubit is named after quantum information technologies which we believe will define the
future.
Team Summary
Since 2015 we have been actively participating in both national and international STEM related
projects. We have been the first public school to organize a maker faire, we have done
workshops all around the world, we participated in a project that was made by the Turkish
Minister of Education to implement STEM within the Turkish education system, we have
organized a Science Fair organization with TUBITAK and the list goes on… After all these
experiences we knew that we were able to establish our team to get involved in the FIRST
community. Since our establishment we have been working hard for the 2019 season.
To create a sustainable environment for our team we are both working on community and
fundraising projects. Since our establishment we have raised 1000 dollars and reached 5000
people all across Turkey.
As a rookie team, FIRST Robotics Competition piqued our interest with its hard working,
collaborative, fun and professional. We are always trying to do our best and we believe our
exertion will lead us to success.
We had overcome a lot of challenges on this team and we believe that these thing make us
unique. We are a public school, and didn't have a lot of opportunities but used all of them for the
best, we didn't know a lot of thing about robot technologies but we learnt about all of them in a
short time to improve ourselves.
