This project is specifically looking for partners related to art and theatre.
Our desire to implement this project stems from our wish to address the significant issue of intercultural understanding and dialogue deficiency in today’s world. By using the universal language of puppet art, we aim to reduce misunderstandings and prejudices between different cultures. Our project also seeks to address the need for young people to develop their creative expression and communication skills. Many young individuals struggle with expressing themselves creatively and communicating effectively in intercultural settings. Through puppet making and performance, we plan to provide participants with opportunities to enhance these skills.

Additionally, we aim to preserve and reinterpret puppet art, which has a rich tradition but faces the risk of being forgotten in the modern world. By introducing traditional puppet art to young people and reinterpreting it in contemporary contexts, we strive to keep this valuable cultural heritage alive. We also intend to increase awareness of sustainability and environmental consciousness through puppet-making workshops using recycled materials.

Among the core objectives of our project is to enable young people from different countries to discover each other’s cultures, traditions, and sense of humor through puppet art. We aim to enhance participants’ intercultural empathy and understanding during this process. Furthermore, we seek to develop their practical skills in puppet making, manipulation, and performance techniques to foster their creative talents.

Reinterpreting traditional puppet art in modern contexts and popularizing it among young people is another key goal of our project. We plan to combine puppet art with digital technologies to develop innovative forms of expression. This will help preserve cultural heritage while also supporting the development of contemporary art forms.

Finally, this project aims to build long-term collaboration and communication networks between participating young people and organizations. We hope this will ensure the sustainability of the project’s impact and lay the groundwork for future intercultural collaborations.

In summary, this project aims to use the power of puppet art to deepen young people's intercultural understanding, develop their creative skills, and actively engage with European values. At the same time, it seeks to revitalize a traditional art form in modern contexts, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage and the development of innovative forms of expression.
