Psycho-educational Program to Support the Well-being of Teachers Working with Next-Generation Students in the Digital Age

1. Background and Motivation:
The rapid digitalization of education and the changing behavioral profiles of next-generation students (Gen Z and Alpha) have significantly increased the emotional and professional burden on teachers. Adapting to digital transformations while managing classroom dynamics often leads to "digital burnout" and high stress levels. As a primary and lower secondary school in Turkey, we believe that a healthy education system starts with healthy teachers.
2. Project Objectives:
* To protect and improve the psychological well-being of teachers working in the digital age.
* To equip teachers with effective coping mechanisms against stress and burnout.
* To foster a supportive, inclusive, and emotionally safe school environment.
* To exchange European best practices regarding teacher mental health and digital adaptation.
3. Main Activities:
The core of our project is the implementation and piloting of an 8-session Psycho-education Program specifically designed for teachers. This program includes modules on emotional resilience, stress management, digital detox, and effective communication with new-generation students. Partner schools will pilot this program, participate in international workshops, and co-create a sustainable "Teacher Well-being Guidebook."
4. Profile of the Ideal Partner:
We are looking for highly motivated partners (Primary/Secondary Schools, Special Education Schools, or NGOs) who are experiencing similar challenges. Partners with staff experienced in psychology, counseling, inclusive education, or ICT integration will be highly valued. We aim to build a strong, supportive team to create a lasting impact on our educational communities.
