Training for youth workers to promote multilingualism among youth by supporting them to overcome language learning obstacles
Promoting Actions to Remove Language Learning Obstacles (PARLO), is a training for youth workers intended to take place in Rome in September 2023. It will involve 9 countries and will focus on the role of the youth workers in promoting multilingualism and especially in supporting youth facing language learning obstacles which prevent them from fully engaging in mobility projects. Learning Difficulties, Foreign Language Anxiety, Experiential Language Learning, Digital gap will be some of the topics addressed by the training.
The training will last 5 days following this schedule:
DAY 1 get to know each other / networking
DAY 2 Analyse Language Learning obstacles
DAY 3 Tools and techniques to promote language learning
DAY4 Create games / activities to overcome obstacles
DAY5 Presentation of results and planning follow-up steps
Each partner will send 2 youth workers and will be in charge of implementing a follow up activity with financial support from the project budget.
