ProjectZ - Volunteering youth project in Jönköping, Sweden

ProjectZ aims at developing activities within democracy and culture for youth in youth centres in Jönköping, Sweden. Are you 18-30 years old? Apply now!

The youth centres and the local civil society are all working to increase awareness, integration and inclusion. The youth centres are working with youth 10-19 years of age. They offer either after-school activities for younger youth or evening activities for older youth in Jönköping. It needs continuous efforts to broaden and improve understanding and tolerance among youth but also consciousness about similarities and differences in Europe.
Our project objective is to increase solidarity between different cultures through projects about democracy and culture to create inclusion of young people in our city.

Project description:
- Kreativ Ung is a cultural project, focusing on cultural activities.
- Dags för Tjafs 2.0 is a democratic project, focusing on democratic activities.
When applying, please specify which project you would prefer to work with.

We plan to host 2 volunteers to work with the project Kreativ Ung which will focus on cultural activities and 2 volunteers to the Dags för Tjafs 2.0 project that will focus on democracy activities. The 4 volunteers will be working side by side at the youth centres and will be sharing their experience. We believe this will facilitate for them to adapt during their period in Jönköping.
