KA152 Youth Exchange in the Tuscia region focusing on energy crisis, democracy, citizen assemblies and geopolitical media literacy.
We are Etrurian Youth APS, a youth association based in rural central Italy in the Tuscia region. We are seeking three reliable European partner organisations for our upcoming Erasmus+ KA152 Youth Exchange project titled "Energy Shield: Youth Democracy in Times of Global Crisis", planned to take place in central Italy.
The project aims to develop young people’s democratic and civic competences through a realistic energy-crisis simulation. Across Europe, young people face geopolitical shocks such as energy price volatility and resource insecurity, yet rarely have a safe space to negotiate solutions. Through non-formal education methodologies, the exchange combines a crisis-simulation role-play game, a Citizen Assembly deliberative workshop, community fieldwork, digital media literacy labs, and a co-drafted Emergency & Green Resilience Charter. Participants will present their policy recommendations directly to local decision-makers during a structured institutional roundtable.
Each partner organisation will select a delegation of participants aged 18 to 30 plus one group leader, ensuring that at least 30% to 40% of the group includes young people with fewer opportunities, specifically those facing economic obstacles, geographical isolation, or educational challenges. Partner organisations will manage participant selection, pre-departure preparation, group leader support, active contribution during the mobility, and follow-up dissemination in their home communities. Interested organisations are invited to contact us with their OID number and a brief background on their experience in civic participation, democracy, or social inclusion.
