Preservation of cultural heritage through old sport games

We are hosting a group of young people, some 10-12 youngsters between 13 and 16 years old (including up to two supporting persons) from our partner-organisations, as well as the same number of young people from our side at one destination at the Adriatic coast in early/mid August 2013 and there present the heritage of both groups through the practicing of old and almost forgotten sports, learning about the context in which they were developed and finding the reasons for their vanishing, helping each other to understand more about the intercultural links and improving the dialogue... The main goal of the project is to improve the value of cultural heritage by its identification, examining, explanation, protection, preservation and presentation, but also to initiate the intercultural dialogue, improve cultural identity, and introduce the idea and the history of the multi-culturalism to the young people, making them more tolerant and acceptable towards other cultures.
