POWER project KA3

Youth organizations, sports organizations, and NGOs active in the field of sports and youth are invited to send partnership requests to join partnethsip by 15th February. The project offers a valuable opportunity to promote EU values and unity through the power of sports, ultimately building bridges between nations to ensure a peaceful future throughout Europe.

The KA3 European Youth Together project aims to promote EU values, unity, and inclusion across Europe through the power of sports. The project recognizes the disillusionment of many young Europeans with traditional European values due to factors such as the economic recession, erosion of confidence in political institutions, and the rise of right-wing populism. By utilizing the platform of sports and through engagement in activities such as international sports competitions or club-level tournaments, individuals from different nationalities can come together with a shared set of values, promoting inclusion and creating stronger connections between nations.

The project has specific objectives, including encouraging fair play and ethical behavior in sports, supporting sport-based initiatives that aim to empower young people and promote their active involvement in shaping their own futures, promoting inclusiveness and diversity in sport, promoting sporting activities and events that engage youth with EU issues, and encouraging collaborations between youth organizations and sporting bodies from across Europe.

The project targets youth workers, youth leaders, and sport coaches as the primary audience, with the final recipients being young people with fewer opportunities and sport athletes. The project will culminate in the production of several results and activities, such as an in-depth exploration of the intersection of European ideals and sports, a comprehensive collection of good practices on sharing European values through sports, a European sports values toolkit for youth workers, and a national event connecting youth through sport with values of unity, fun, and achievement.
