The aim of the project is to develop and share knowledge so that the 'youth community' have an increase in social participation and community action.
There are some significant problems that are seen within communities that lack a sense of community togetherness with all individuals within that space.
These include drugs and alcohol use, Unhealthy sexual relationships/sexual promiscuity and pregnancy, Health issues - Higher levels of obesity and health related issues, Criminal behaviour activity, Drop out of education and lack of community cohesion between different cultures and age groups(young and old)within one community.
By enabling young people to engage in their community , it is likely that they will minimise their risk of the unhealthy behaviours and achieve a higher performance level in learning.
