Capacity building in the field of youth
Providing an online platform to educate a thousand displaced Syrian individuals about soft skills
1- POPETDSIS project introduction:
POPETDSIS project mainly addresses the urgent need of the current Syrian crisis, as many individuals are displaced and deprived from any source of knowledge and education, the online platform that my organization "Sky Education" has can solve this problem by providing online tutoring in cooperation between local (Syrian) and regional (European) trainers, lecturers and instructors.
2- POPETDSIS project objectives:
• providing online knowledge for a thousand Syrian displaced individuals in the field of soft skills (how to write a professional CV – how to react successfully in a job interview – an introduction to leadership – understanding body language – communication skills in the work environment – business etiquette) and other soft skills topics.
• Granting certificates for each course attended signed and stamped by the Syrian partner "Sky Education" and by other European partners.
• Recording MOOCs to be available for free and to be accessed on Sky Education's platform and other partners' websites.
• Achieving the number of educating 1000 Syrian displaced individuals.
3- POPETDSIS project goals (effects and desired results):
a. Capacity building in the field of youth for a better education for people at risk
b. Engaging displaced individuals in the learning and education process to acquire needed knowledge so they can overcome risks of unemployment and risks at war.
4- POPETDSIS project and Erasmus + priorities:
