Point: HOME

Training course is dedicated to SPECIALISTS[social workers, pedagogues, psychologists, streetworkers activists etc]who work on daily basis with HOMELESS YOUTH.

Each participant should have experience in topic and who are willing to share their experiences to other youngsters and who are keen to learn from others – to expand their knowledge and skills as best as possible.

The main goal of the training is to gain skills and experience exchange in the field of social work connected to homelessness.
Emphasis will be placed on:
- deepening knowledge about the crisis of homelessness among young people - causes, conditions, structures and patterns of functioning
- system solutions
- a model of working with people in a crisis of homelessness
- the process of getting out of homelessness
- potential risk behaviors among people who are in a crisis of homelessness

Each country-team will lead workshops on training – due to mutual learning from each other.

The group liders are also mentors, so they should prepare workshops or other activities giving opportunity to share experience. All the activities will be discussed and analyzed with participants during the course.

Dissemination: During the course participants will prepare a guide book with advices, tools and profile of specialists working with homelessness – with emphasis on ethic code, qualities, necessary skills and appropriate self-development paths, to distribute them after completing the course in their local environments.
