"Playing for a future“ is an international youth exchange that will take place 5th-11th September 19th-25th 2016 in Santiago de Compostela, bringing together 30 participants from 5 different EU countries.
The main theme of the program is traditional game. Participants will be dealing with questions like:
Why traditional game is important?
How does the game influence my develop as human being?
What could happen if in this life there would not be traditional games? What can I do for preserve it?
How can I learn a game of a different culture?
The methods include experiential learning in the intercultural environment, using activities in the indoor and outdoor, creativity and role-playing activities, cultural exchange, traditional game workshops, problem-solving and team-building tasks.
We use non-formal education tools, founding all the experiences on „learning by doing“ approach. All the participants will therefore take an active part in the exchange by contributing with their experience and by adopting responsible and proactive attitude during the activity to facilitate the creation of the file ,or online toy library, which may benefit all European citizens interested.
