Play And Design

It is a KA121 project, validated by accrediting agency, which needs two more partners. The aim is to ensure that children spend more time in nature.

The aim of our project is to ensure that children spend more time in nature. In line with this purpose, we want to create a digital guide of games that children can play in nature. During the mobilities, the executive institution will first introduce traditional games played in nature in their own countries. Then, the host country will introduce its traditional games played in nature in their own countries. These games will be played by students throughout the mobilities and will be digitalized by the executive institution and a game guide will be created. In addition to achieving our goal of reducing digital addiction and strengthening children's bond with nature and humans, we will also emphasize the importance of making the right use of the digital world.
In the implementation phase of the project, two mobilities are planned to be carried out only by the executive institution with the participation of 1 teacher and 5 students. The qualifications we are looking for in project partners who will host these mobilities are as follows:
1. The students who will be included in the project should be between the ages of 14-17,
2. The institution involved in the project should have the appropriate (having traditional kids’ games) cultural background for playing traditional games,
3. They should have adopted the principles and values of Erasmus+, have a multilingual, multicultural background,
4. They should have previously conducted, been involved in or have sufficient motivation to be involved in Erasmus+ projects,
5. They should have awareness about protecting and sharing cultural values.
Mobilities are planned to last five days. After the face-to-face meeting on the first day of the mobility, the digital game guide previously prepared by the executing institution will be introduced. In the following process, the executing institution will provide training on the stages of designing the guide. The games in the guide will be played in nature with all participants using the guide. In addition, the participants of the host country will introduce the traditional games played in their country. These games will also be added to the guide.
The expected learning outcomes at the end of the project are as follows:
Students will be able to;
1. Develop their language knowledge and skills
2. Develop their digital knowledge and skills
3. Protect their cultural heritage and contribute to its promotion with technology
4. Learn different cultures through digital integration
5. Gain awareness that they can also use social media, the internet and technology for educational purposes
6. Produce information by developing projects with their current knowledge and skills, and comply with international standards in education and training
7. See digital products not as a goal but as a tool to spend time in nature and spend time in nature by getting away from social media addiction
