PITSTOP '14

- Prologue
The seminar is a follow - up of the "PITSTOP 2013", which took place in Austria in the early summer of 2013.

A few promoters of last year’s meeting were really inspired and motivated to continue successful project and to meet this year in the UK with a few new organisations on board.

- Aim
"Pitstop '14" aims to raise the quality and a positive long-term impact on youth work and organisations presented. We will try to collect the participants with the interest in manifold different areas of youth work (inclusion, integration, participation, entrepreneurship, youth policy, etc.). The expected longer impact is a raise of quality and successful mutual cooperation between our NGOs. Sharing best practises via peer education.

- Methodology
Each partner organisation sends 3 representatives. Representatives are mostly also facilitators of learning and work directly with their target groups. The approach of the meeting will thus be very collaborative, and will include elements of training course, seminar and partnership-building activity.

Two very important transversal components of the meeting are the “Collective”, where all the partner organisations work together for the sake of synergy, and the “Distillery”, where consequences are drawn on level of the individual organisations.

- Activities
Among the other activities, during the Seminar we will use LARP (Live Action Role Play), Art Therapy (and the workshop on therapies in youth work). Workshops held by the participants and best practices during the “Collective” part of the timetable, private coaching sessions, colleague meetings.
