Perpetuum Mobile

2 volunteers wanted - period of 12 months, 15/09/17-30/09/18, project to promote non formal education methods through arts and music for children, social and cultural involvement of local citizens.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
Fundacja Kreatywnej Edukacji Fundacja (Fondazione per l’Educazione Creativa) was found in 2006 to promote new education methods. It works in primary and secondary schools, as well as kindergardens, working on non formal methods and education through arts, such as music and theatre. They organise concerts, seminars and courses, promoting a new form of social and cultural participation.

PROJECT ENVIRONMENT
The project is intended to be an answer to the slow impoverishment of the city centre, in favour of new big malls in the peripheries. The idea is to create with the volunteers new ways to involve citizens and make them participate through events and artistic performances; meantime they will be involved in the daily activities of the association, such as the kindergarden and primary schools' workshops and the promotion activity.

EVS – VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for young people interested in creativity and arts, willing to work in team and to work with children.

Learning opportunities for the volunteer:
- getting to know the different aspects (organization,…) of youth work in Poland
- learning how to work in a team
- learning how to work with children and youth groups and how to prepare activities/workshops
- getting to know himself/herself better and increasing self-confidence
- communication/promotion through creativity and arts

Role of the volunteer:
- giving new impulses and ideas to implement the project
- supporting the daily activities
