Period Empowerment Network

The objective is to promote menstrual health awareness, periods messages, attitudes, tools, resources, and policies through strategic cooperation and mutual learning in order to develop approaches capable of challenging the social-cultural myths, the stigma and the taboos around menstruation and periods to advocate for menstrual health education in schools, in youth work and within the society.

The main outcomes are to create and produce menstrual health and hygiene management pedagogical materials and guidelines with the resources, non-formal learning methods or activities to improve and develop menstrual health awareness, knowledge, skills & attitudes of youth educators for their professional development; as a means to foster pathways to empowerment in menstrual health education.
