The current refugee crisis has produced a wave of xenophobia and racism across Europe. The 2018 Italian elections demonstrate that concerns surrounding migration and asylum continue to dominate the public space and shape national and EU politics. Migration is one of the top concerns of EU citizens.
Europe is experiencing social instability: massive migration flow, unemployment, social inequalities, etc. Massive migrations throughout Europe with the instability of social and economic situation raise racist, xenophobic behaviours in Europe on different levels, up to politics.
With this project we will deal and address current social challenges in Europe, starting from local level up to European level.
We believe that organizations have a huge impact and an important role to stabilize the situation through 6 steps action:

Step 4: Look for solutions!
Step 5: Act!
Step 6: Reflect!

Project objectives:

-Create network of organizations who wish to combat against racism and xenophobia behaviours
-Create strategies and implement anti harassment activities
-Improve the capacity of the youth workers, volunteers, activists involved in
-Improve the capacity of the organizations involved in
-Follow up and make it sustainable

Project action plan:

-Create strong partnership and network with the involved organizations
-Conduct a training for youth workers, volunteers
-Conduct a casework of racism/xenophobia harassment (each organization in its country)
-Conduct a photo essay sharing migrant’s stories (each organization in its country)
-Conduct a Youth Exchange to create a strategy to address the issues related to the harassments
-Launch a #Nohatespeech campaign
