Peaceful Futures empowers youth to overcome fear of war through peace skills, arts, festivals, and a European Youth Forum.
Peaceful Futures – Youth Against Fear of War aims to empower young people across Europe to overcome the fear of war and conflict by strengthening resilience, peacebuilding competences, democratic participation, and intercultural cooperation. The project creates safe spaces for personal growth, intercultural dialogue, and youth-led advocacy, ensuring that young people not only process their fears but also actively shape a more peaceful future.
Through innovative activities such as role-play and simulation games, the Youth Peace Ambassadors network, intercultural festivals, creative arts for healing, and a European Youth Forum leading to the Youth Charter for Peaceful Futures, the project engages youth in experiential learning, creativity, and democratic dialogue. Results will be shared widely through a dedicated Peaceful Futures Platform, ensuring sustainability and European added value.
