Peace with Music

Street Art Festival will be held in order to create a common ground between different cultures and artistic expression to overcome language barrier.

The Project will take place in Eskisehir between 11 – 19th of June 2016, including arrival and departure days. With the attendance of 6 young people from each country with a total of 30 representatives,

the “Street Art Festival” project will try to raise awareness about xenophobia through cultural and artistic expressions. Recent refugee crisis and terrorist attacks both in Paris and Ankara triggered xenophobia in the societies. We will try to understand this phobia and try to overcome with cultural and artistic expressions.

By using formal and informal education techniques and arranging workshops; in addition to outside activities (flash-mobs) and motivations, main aim will be sharing a space and time in order to understand each other, communicate and enjoy cultural differences while agreeing on the basic human rights.
