Peace, Past, and Future, and the Building of Europe

Youth exchange focused on peacebuilding, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement.

This Erasmus+ initiative aims to actively involve young people in understanding the evolution of European integration, focusing on peacebuilding, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement. Through a rich program of activities including international youth exchanges, participatory workshops, thematic debates, field visits and intercultural events, the project explores the historical foundations of peace in Europe, from the post-war era to today’s ecological challenges like the European Green Deal. By combining historical reflection with hands-on learning, the PCE project empowers youth to develop practical tools for social change, deepen their awareness of environmental and peace-related issues, and become active, responsible citizens shaping a more united and sustainable Europe.

We are looking for Erasmus+ certified partners from Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg. Partner organisations would be responsible for recruiting and sending participants. Per country, we are looking for seven participants (aged 18–30) and one group leader. The project will be conducted in French, so participants should understand it.

We will organise this YE at the end July or the beginning of August in Verdun, France (the exact dates are not yet confirmed).
