PBA - Migrants support and Refugees integration in the local communities

A partnership building activity to network among organizations and actors focusing on migrants/refugees reception, support and integration in local communities.

We are planning to host a KA1 project focusing on building partnerships among organizations and public/private actors working on the reception, support and social inclusion of young migrants, asylum seekers and refugees within local communities and societies.

We would like to host the activity (PBA) in Alessandria, in autumn 2019, involving up to 30 youth workers, social operators, educators and experts on the topic of migrants and refugees inclusion. Ideally, this would be people already working with migrants/asylum seekers/refugees on a daily basis.

The project would allow the different organizations involved to exchange good practices, to discuss common challenges and opportunities, to develop common strategies and future projects to facilitate and promote social inclusion in each involved community.

During the PBA, partners will have the chance to meet young migrants, asylum seekers and refugees hosted in Alessandria and supported by Social Domus, analysing their needs and challenges in integrating in the local community, and they will visit activities and projects already set up by different local organizations. The visits will serve to get inspired and collect evidence on possible projects to be further developed within the newly setup European partnerships.

As a result, in fact, we plan to develop at least 3 new Erasmus Plus projects, either KA1 or KA2, focusing on the topics addressed by the PBA and involving the project partners.
