Pastime* with Good Company - Inclusion through Music, Dance & Science**
The project aims towards inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities through discovering and learning Renaissance music & dances, as well as discovering science in different, creative ways.
We are looking for partners from Italy and Romania. Each promoter group should consist of 12 participants aged 15 to 23 and 2 leaders. At least 50% members of each group should be young people with fewer opportunities, preferably also achieving gender balance within each group. Group or individual experiences in music are an advantage (such as playing an instrument, singing in a choir or similar).
The Action (camp) will take place on the island of Prvić (Šibenik archipelago) in Croatia, for 12 days (11 nights) during the first half of August 2014.
We expect our future partners to be responsible and respective of agreed obligations and deadlines during the entire duration of the Project.

*Pastime: something that amuses and serves to make time pass agreeably (Merriam-Webster); "Pastime with Good Company", also known as "The King's Ballad" was written by King Henry VIII when he was only 18. Due to its simple and catchy melody, the song remained popular until today.
**This project is based on experiences and success of our last year's project "Music and Folklore in Function of Social Inclusion" - you are welcome to watch the presentation of that project here: http://youtu.be/lmRVLxyxQEI
While you're there, also take a look at our second last year's project "Inclusion through Sports & Games and Intercultural Activities": http://youtu.be/c0HL9EE3jv4
In both presentations you can also see the camp and the island of Prvić.
