Partnership Building Activities: A Comprehensive Overview

Location:Veliko Tarnovo and Svishtov, Bulgaria
Date: 15-22 November 2023

Introduction:

Esteemed colleagues, this document serves to elucidate the forthcoming activities to be hosted in Bulgaria, funded by Erasmus+. This endeavour aims to foster sustainable partnerships and collaborations in the realm of youth and education. The targeted attendees for these events are revered individuals and experts from Europe.

Contextual background:

In recent times, Bulgaria has witnessed the emergence of a groundbreaking youth space, independently established, which currently stands as one of the most expansive in the nation. Furthermore, the proud accomplishment of being among the pioneering nine organizations in Bulgaria to secure accreditation under the prestigious "Erasmus+" for the youth sector since March 2021 further accentuates the credibility and commitment of the organizers.
In alliance with multiple strategic projects over the years, the organizing team has successfully secured partnerships with local municipalities, academic institutions, and the broader community. A testament to the efficacy of these collaborations is the securing of a €900,000 grant, in partnership with the Svishtov municipality, to construct a state-of-the-art youth center scheduled to inaugurate in early 2025.

Financial support and coverage:

All activities under this program are graciously funded by Erasmus+. Moreover, participants can expect comprehensive coverage for their expenses during the duration of this event. This includes:
- Full accommodation in quality establishments.
- All meals, including special dietary requirements upon request.
- Transportation costs within Bulgaria, related to the program activities.

Objective of the event:

The core objective of these Partnership Building Activities is to foster a sense of trust, camaraderie, and collaboration among participants. Given the proven success of prior partnerships, the focus will now shift towards leveraging this network of professionals for upcoming calls under programs such as KA2 Erasmus+, INTERREG DANUBE, among others. The expectation is that through collaborative efforts, new applications can be submitted via various channels, including the Institute Perspectives, local municipalities, schools, and universities.
