Partner/Sending Organization in Youth Project from Italy

The Association IL FILO ROSSO was born from the idea of a group of young people aged between 18 and 35 who shared voluntary work, service, animation and life experiences on the values of promoting well-being, active participation and confrontation.

The Association was founded in 2019, laying its foundations on youth aggregation and animation activities, with the aim of nurturing and supporting relationships through educational, training and cultural proposals.

Through its projects, actions, commitment, dedication and the passion of its members, it determinedly plays the role of a new proposal in the local territory with the aim of promoting social welfare, active participation of young people, promotion of a culture of meeting, relationship and confrontation.

To date, the Association relies on the contribution and expertise of 50 card-carrying and active members. The coordination of these is headed by the Association's President Elisa Ranucci, a teacher and trainer.

The ‘Bottega di Animazione - Socio-Educational Workshop’ group is composed of numerous volunteers, high school students, who are guided both in their training and in their playful social animation activities by a professional educator and two young university students of Primary Education and Educational Sciences.

The ‘Bottega dell'Arte’ group draws on the expertise and active participation of photographers, artists, digital communication experts, filmmakers, podcasters, web designers and graphic designers.

Since 2023, the Association has had a psychologist in its staff, an expert in social planning and management of international projects (Erasmus KA1 - Erasmus KA2, Cultural Exchanges, International Mobility), to reinforce the know-how in planning and management of social interventions with a strong local impact already expressed previously.

The association's main objective is the creation of networks and relations between people and realities, aimed at a culture of encounter and confrontation.

The proposals are developed in two main areas, the socio-educational one with training courses aimed at service in the world of volunteering and civic activism, and the artistic-cultural one with initiatives and events that focus on the passion and talents of young people.
