PARTICIPART: Local Participatory Democracy Made Inclusive through Art

WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AS A THIRD PARTNER OF THE PROJECT OR A PARTNER WITH EXPERTISE IN DIGITAL TOOLS AND CITIZENSHIP EDUCATION. NOT PARTNERS FROM ITALY.

OBJECTIVES:
1) Promote youth participatory democracy at local level through creative activities.
2) Engage young people with disabilities in democracy through innovative methodologies and create a more inclusive environment through the capacity building of professionals.
ACTIVITIES:
A1) Development of an appreciative inquiry-based methodology for supporting young people with disabilities in policy-making.
A2) Implementation of the appreciative inquiry meetings at local level, gathering of data.
A3) Development of a policy recommendation booklet to support local governments in making democracy more inclusive.
A4) Development of an online course for youth workers and governmental staff on how to use art and the appreciative inquiry methodology to make democracy more inclusive.
TARGET GROUPS
- Young people (16 – 25 y.o.), particularly with disabilities (Diversity and Inclusion Strategy)
- Policy-makers at local level
- Youth workers
