P.E.A.C.E 2016 (Partnership, Education and Active Citizenship in North Africa, Tunisia )

The project gathers youth together in North Africa, Tunisia to work on the topic of youth employment in order to enhance skills and knowledge in work

The theme of the youth exchange is Youth Employment.

Project aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the youth in work related issues including working abroad and work-based immigration.

The priorities for the project are to seek solutions for youth unemployment, learn about marginalization and poverty resulting from unemployment and encourage youth to find solutions for those challenges to create participation in the society and active citizenship.

The project will take place in the Town ofNorth Africa, Tunisia in 2016. The preferred length of the Youth Exchange is 12 days.

The Town of Nokia’s Leisure Time Centre / Youth Services acts as the hosting and coordinating partner and does the applying for the project.

We are looking for two other partner groups, each group consisting approx. 10 youth aged 13-19 and 2 adult leaders.

We are applying in the 1st application period for which the deadline is 30 st of July 2016.
