Out of Spiral is a Youth Exchange focused on youngsters who face the danger of exposure to the drugs and alcohol and subsequently addiction.
Coping with stress, finding friends or rebelling against authority, these are the most common problems how youngsters are getting associated with alcohol or drugs. Especially when they don't see other escape route, they are running towards the “paradise” of addictive stupor and entering the sliding spiral leading to addiction. They are trapped in a world which seems to be full of insurmountable obstacles with only possible escape: numbness.
We want to take the one who found themselves trapped in a word without options and tear them out of their everyday routine to show them world full of possibilities and encourage them to create life they will be happy to live.
We call for 5 partners active in rural areas whose needs for local action can be answered by our project.
We are expecting from them:
- To promote the whole project, find 4 participants (18-25 years old) and one team-leader (can be over 25);
- To analyze the needs in their community and define these which can be supported by our project;
- Support the participants in the whole process, from the beginning, through the preparation phase and after the project,
- The evaluation of impact of the project;
- To support the team-leader and his group with implementation of local project created during the youth exchange.
All together with partners, we will define what kind of projects would be the most supportive in their specific context.
