Our minds, our Future – youth participation for mental health

Our project is a Youth Participation Activity on the lack of information about where and to whom to seek for help in their educational institutions regarding mental care services and the stigma attached to mental health problems that stops them to access school psychological counseling. The goal is to create the space and the opportunity for 30 young people, aged 16-25 from 6 partner countries to participate and engage in the civic society by conducting different activities: research about the importance of having access to quality psychological counseling in their educational institutions, a dialogue with 6 decisional makers on finding ways to change the issue that affects them, as well as proposing solutions on how to have better, quality mental health services in the educational institutions.
Target group: 5 young participants from each partner country (aged 16-25)
1 accompany person (if the young people are younger than 18 years old)
1 expert from each country (can be College or University teacher, psychologist, school director, school counselor)
Mobility: 14-25 August 2023 in Romania and Norway
Study Visit: Denmark (in October 2023)
