Youth exchange on organic agriculture and sustainable production, supporting young people to gain practical skills and awareness in rural development.
This KA-152-YOU project aims to empower young people with knowledge, skills and practical experience in organic agriculture and sustainable food production. The main focus is on environmentally friendly farming practices, healthy production methods and the role of young people in shaping sustainable rural development.
Through non-formal education methods, participants will explore topics such as organic farming principles, sustainable agricultural policies, green entrepreneurship and employment opportunities in the agricultural sector. The project combines preparation activities, workshops, expert-led training sessions and hands-on fieldwork, allowing participants to transform theoretical knowledge into real-life practice.
Field activities will enable young people to observe and experience organic production processes directly in agricultural environments, with a particular focus on climate-friendly and sustainable methods. Cultural and intercultural learning elements will also be included to strengthen mutual understanding and cooperation among participants from different backgrounds.
The project aims to increase awareness of sustainable agriculture, support youth employability and entrepreneurship, and encourage active participation of young people in rural and environmental development. In the long term, it contributes to the promotion of responsible production, environmental protection and youth engagement in sustainable futures.
