Identification and protection of adults victims of trafficking for all forms of exploitation in high-risks sectors, in the context of the current asylum and migration processes.

The main aim of this project is to strengthen the network of organisations assisting victims of human trafficking by creating and sharing a better system of identifying victims and become closer to victims of human trafficking. The specific objectives are:
- To create and update a holistic system in a number of European countries which helps in the identification of victims;
- Establishing a first call point, for the collection of information that will layout the groundwork for police for further investigations and subsequent prosecution of offenders; and
- Create a support system to victims of human trafficking including professionally trained persons to assist victims of human trafficking in their specific needs to integrate in the hosting society.

The project will have various activities that will be incorporated under two main activities:

1. Victim Identification Procedures
Activities under this heading include one conference to specify the framework of the manual and fact sheet, and identification procedure. Five workshops will follow to address reviewing literature on identification procedures, look at participating countries’ procedures in places, the weakness, pros and cons and the gap in those areas and from there we will formulate our own. These will be concluded through Representatives meeting that will bring the various outcomes together.

2. Setting Up of a Hotline
This work package include an extended workshop on the guidelines to be set for the setting up of a hotline, including an expert to guide the team, the building of the infrastructure needed for the setting up of a hotline, training for persons who will answer the calls and managing the system and a pilot project to make sure that the hotline is operating and reaching the desired outputs.
A conference at the end of the project will highlight the project outputs and the use of the victim identification manual and sheet, which is an abbreviated version of the manual, and the hotline. We will also discuss any amendments carried out for the proper use of the hotline. An awareness campaign on the use of the victim identification sheet and hotline will be carried out with specific target groups.
The project will also include a number of pre-project meeting for all partner or supporting organisations to make sure that all deliverables are reached in the best way. We will also have an allocation of tasks and resources, and evaluation meetings.
The expected results include the production of a manual and the creation of identification system which is being used by advocate groups for victims of human trafficking in a number of EU Member States and the setting up of a hotline, which will create a new platform for the collection of information. The main beneficiaries of these new created systems are victims of human trafficking.
