✨ Shining a light on inclusive dance

Are you a youth worker, non-formal educator, or involved in youth arts and inclusion projects? The SHINE project is looking for participants to contribute to a groundbreaking European initiative on inclusive dance education!

About the Project
SHINE – Skills for Harmonizing INclusion in Dance Education is a 2-year Erasmus+ project that aims to equip both disabled and non-disabled dance instructors with inclusive teaching tools, promote equity and diversity in youth dance education, and increase accessibility in the performing arts.

Partners from Greece, Belgium and Ireland are collaborating to co-create a 40-hour training program (30h self-paced + 10h live) to support inclusion in dance teaching practices across youth and community settings.

Who Can Participate? We welcome:
- Dance instructors (formally trained or informal educators)
- Dancers interested in inclusive dance instruction
- Youth workers engaged in inclusive dance

No experience in inclusive dance is required - just a strong interest in inclusive practices.

What You’ll Be Involved In:
We are currently conducting field research and looking for participants for:
- A short questionnaire (10–15 min)
- A one-on-one interview
- A focus group discussion

- All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation, upon request.
- Your input will help shape a European training model in inclusive dance for youth educators.
