One-year-long EVS project

We are currently searching for an EVS volunteer for the one-year-long project. The project will start on 1st, August 2018 and finish on 31st, July 2019. We expect a volunteer to be engaged mainly in the activities of our international department, however, a volunteer will also be included in the internal activities of our organization. The main tasks of a volunteer will include:
1. Help with ongoing projects of international department.
2. Communication with international partners.
3. Creation of photo and video content.
4. Social media management.
5. Self-education and research on labour market issues.
A volunteer will have an opportunity to implement his / her own activities or projects within the duration of EVS project.
A successful candidate should meet these requirements:
1. To have some knowledge about sociology, politics, or economics (preferably, from university or other studies).
2. To be a passionate and independent learner.
3. To be responsible and creative.
4. To have some experience working with photo, video, and audio editing tools.
5. To possess adequate English skills to communicate within the organization and know the basics of formal English writing in order to write emails and communicate with international partners.
A volunteer will be provided with:
1. Accommodation in a single room in a shared apartment in Ljubljana.
2. Cards for shopping in the grocery stores.
3. Pocket money.
4. Bus pass (if needed).
5. Language support: a volunteer will be enrolled in the Slovene language course.
According to the rules of Erasmus+ programme, a volunteer will have a mentor and supervisor who will help and guide him / her during his / her EVS project. Transportation and visa costs will be reimbursed.
