Odysseus adventure

The main aim of the project is the exchange of experiences and cooperation between people who work with young people in island communities in the island communities of Europe with the aim of strengthening the active participation of young people in society.

This youth work cooperation for the activities of adaptation and exchange of innovative youth work practices will serve as the basis for an Islands for youth platform.

Througt this project we will develop methodology for the Islands forYouth paltform and exchange of experience in dealing with major socioeconomic problems of young people living on the islands related to social marginalization, social inclusion of young people, jobs for young people and equality of young people.

The purpose of the project is to exchange experiences with colleagues from three Mediterranean countries working in organizations located in the islands, whose main task is to work with young people and the development of rural areas.

New forms of deliverign youth work and providing training and support, notably use of open and flexible learning, virtual mobility.

Better exploitation of the ICT potential for newtorking the islanders with the mainland.
Throught the use of ICT potential giving equal opportunities.

Through this exchange wants to start cooperation and develop projects that island communities will enable the European Union:

Improvement of cross-cultural understanding and a sense of belonging to the community

-building flexible ways of learning based on the real needs of students

-spread knowledge
